DESCRIPTION
SMLZ-40 is cement dispersant that reduces the apparent viscosity and improves the rheological properties of cement slurry. SMLZ-40 is red-brown powder, after adding it turbulent flow can be achieved at lower pumping rates, which results in reduced friction pressure during pumping.
APPLICATION
SMLZ-40 is intended for use in a wide range of cement slurries prepared with API cement in any situation requiring a dispersant. It can be useful in a number of sepcial cement formulations. If SMLZ-40 is applied in brine or well cement which actual chemical components do not comply with API requirements, the slurry's rheological properties will obviously decreased. SMLZ-40 can help improve fluid loss control and can provide slight slurry retardation.
