Fluid Loss Additive
DESCRIPTION
SMLZ-708 is a tan powdered fluid loss additive recommeded for blending with cement to control the loss of filtrate from cement slurry.

Ø It can help control gas migration and provide low gel strength.
Ø It can help improve squeeze cementing results and pretect water-sensitive formations.
Ø It can help secure a better cement/casing bond.
APPLICATION
SMLZ-708 exhibits minor retardation properties at temperatures as low as 80℉(27℃), yet it is effective at temperatures higher than 400℉ (204℃). It can be used with calcium chloride (CaCl2), seawater, and high concentrations of salt. Because SMLZ-708 is not a strong dispersant or cement viscosifier, it can be used in normal and heavyweight cement slurries.
